Reduced rate Tram/train tickets for senior persons.

In the morning dada & I went to Citizen  Bank for getting some coin exchanges (Quarters)  in exch. of  $20. It was  reqd. as we would board tram/train (Dada & I) & pay  in cash, for tkts, while we would go to an office in a  train stn. viz. downtwon crossing. Purpose-----collecting 2  ID cards for senior people  (> 65 yrs.).
The bank official gave 2 rolls of quarters of  vl.= $ 20. Dada also tried to encash 3 of his traveler's cheques & succeded. Next, we entered the  Whole Food  Mart & bought some bananas.

After a few minute's rest at home, we 2 again started for Downtown crossing. The officials there gave us forms to fill in & checked our  bonafides.  Our photos were also taken by them. Later, we got temporary reduced rate tkts for $10 each, valid upto 19th July  (Today it is 30th June). ID cards to reach us by post.

We entered a super store there (Macy's) & saw some items on sale. No purchase made.

We validated our tkts thru  a vending machine & came home back at about 2-30 P.M. We were charged @  60 cents each i.e we got reduced rates already. We started  for D.T crossing at about 1 P.M.
Today's menu for lunch:----  Karela soup (sort of),  karela (boiled), alu posto, alu-beguner tarkari with beans & chips of coconut plus Katla fish curry------ wonderful.
Runi is better today (some dental problem caused her trouble & she went to a dental surgeon already) & she  enjoys the khana thoroughly. Also,  Yash is all praise for the khana.

Now is the time to lie down & sleep for a short while.

what to do?

As we have no work to do & practically nowhere to go, we r in the house, almost day-long. Dada sees movies in youtube for long---- sometimes goes thru  magazines also. Boudi prepares new dishes. They  must have pleased everyone's palate. Alu-posto, Lau-ghanto with illish macher muro, daal etc .Runi insists that I write down the recipe for these, either in plain paper or somewhere in the computer.
Yash is a real conoisseur of the dishes &  I think he ate heartily. At last, I write down the recipe in a simple note pad.  I hope to record it permanently in PC  & maybe Runi will tell me where it is to be placed for her to see & cook.
Runi is on leave. Yash also has come home sooner.

A quiet day

Runi has to go to a dental surgeon today, after a few hrs. in her lab. Yash will be right there on time & together they will come home back, once the reqd. surgery is over.
So, we remain home & wait.  Time passes by & they arrive----- Runi &  Yash.
Tonight, Runi's diet is what the surgeon advised & suggested. She shd be fit & fine very soon.
We are home and watch whatever Yashodhan does for Runi.
A few phone calls to India, Kolkata & we come to know that it is now raining in Kol.
My friend Dilip's son finds time to arrange for a conversation between him (Dilip) & me, who is ready to communicate with ors., to  give them updates about us. Thanks Papai (Dilip's son).

To New York

Runi goes out early in the morning------ she will  lead us to New York for a short stay in  Anushree's apptt. in Manhattan, near Times Sq.and a  short trip within the city. Yash to meet us there next day i.e saturday-----  his tight  schedule of the day causes this.
So, we change  into faster gears & get ready waiting for Runi who arrives sooner than expected & after having Bhat, daal & sabji etc. (our lunch  is over already), she leads us to chinatown bus terminus.Next, we are in the bus which is  cozy & the journey begins at 6-30 P.M. Near New York, we face some traffic congestion but, that  does not really bother us.  We get down in NY at about 11 P.M or so.
In New York, Runi talks to Anushree to pin-point the location, over phone, and quickly takes a taxi & we all are there  at the intersection of  west 56th street & Broadway. Anushree is standing there opposite the Citibank bldg. to welcome us & we follow her & her husband Narendra into the apptt. It is a nice bldg. at a vantage point & from the roof-top one can  get views of Times Sq., Central Park, Hudson river & many other prominent skyscrapers.
Anushree & her husband  are so thoughtful & do whatever is needed to wipe out the tiresome effects of our journey, if any & after talking with them for quite some time, we  take coffee/tea. Next, the dinner---- it is really really good & I sleep well.
In the morning, we are all ready for the tour & are guided by Anushree & Narendra & Runi is experienced enough to lead us to a pick-up point fm where the bus starts for the guided tour. It is a double decker & the upper deck is open (We r in the upper deck to have a clear view). The bus moves thru the Times sq.,  the Theatre district in the Broadway, Flatiron bldg.,Art-museum, Greenwich village. We catch glimpses of Macy's (The world's largest center for shopping), Madison sq, Garden,   We take the route along the Hudson river to the Liberty island where the statue of liberty is there to offer a magnificient view.
Along the route, the guide shows places & bldgs, with  history  & heritage of their own  and slowly we r near the ferry service. This ferry will take us to Staten island & the statue of Liberty will well be within view for
quite some period.
The ferry is simply superb & the countdown begins for the statue of liberty to be seen. Already glimpses of the same are visible; but, soon we will have a better & greater view of the statue. Here it is there to see. What a sight. The memory everyone on board will cherish. Many snapshots taken by my elder bro & Runi. Their photo albums this time will be much much bigger.
On   Staten island, we get down & get on board, again bound for return journey to Rockefeller Center via Liberty island (I may have been mistaken to name the place). Enroute, we see Chinatown, Ground Zero (WTC) ---- the memorials & the new construction-site. Wherefrom did I get a distant view of a super-high bldg. with a  needle-like top?------- I don't remember the name of the place; but, the Empire State Bldg. it is, for sure. So many intersections of Avenues & Streets & after some time, we get down at Rockefeller Center. Within---- we r in the shop of Swarnovsky (Jwellery & ors.). A few min.'s rest in the Rockefeller center gives us a boost-up to ride to our apptt., in a taxi.
After lunch, I find myself too tired to enjoy the 2nd part of the bus-ride (in the same ticket) & prefer to sleep in the house, whereas Runi, dada & Boudi move out. Later, I learn fm them that they have seen the Empire State Building , Central Park etc. &  feel for me bec. I could not  have a nearer view of the Empire State Bldg.
In the meantime,  Parag (Anushree's brother who lives in New Jersey) came to the apartment to be a part of  the team which formed. Yash also came when it was 11 P.M or so.
In the night, most of us went on roof-top, to have a view of Broadway (Times Sq. not far-off) & wow-------
all the colors in the world to delight us immensely. It's a kaleidoscopic view of the mortals on the earth. The Hudson river could faintly be seen & the dark outline of the Central park could also be seen.
The dinner invigorated me & I liked to play cards with all the younger members i.e Yash, Parag, Narendra, Anushree & Runi. After a while, I felt like going to bed though the game picked up gears. Good night then. Dada & Bou-di were asleep already.
Joy,  our cousin (Our mamato bro.'s only son who was a professor in the univ. of NH earlier & who is now wkg. in a financial Co. in NY ) with his newly-married wife Madhura were in touch with us before we came to NY, had met us.along with  wife Madhura already, somewhere near WTC  (near a  Church---- I can't exactly describe the place), while we were on our way back home, & this gave us real pleasure to be with the couple. Madhura is a teacher in California & has just left her job & has arrived in NY (New Jersey where Joy lives). She has applied for Gr. card &  I hope she gets the same overcoming  whatever is in the way.Hopefully, next time, the couple goes to India (kolkata) where both Joy's parents as well as Madhura's parents live.
A formal celebration will happen there in Kol. when they r able to go & all the relatives, friends  plus well-wishers r eagerly waiting  there to celebrate.
Following day, in the morning & after tea, it is now time to leave for  Boston before joining another family, who r  much close to Dada, Bou-di and Runi also (Yash also knows one of them-----  Papu who is in New Jersey) in Pho Grand, a vietnamese restaurant  and  taste a few vietnamese/chinese dishes. Runi & Yash r fond of this restaurant.  Papu's husband did not come----- he is busy.  Papu came with her child  (son) & mother. Sadly, her father died recently, while on tour in Bangladesh. He was an old friend of dada------ actually he was a colleague & the family resided together for quite a long time. About the vietnamese/chinese dishes----  veg./chicken mom, rice with shrimp, fried rice, chowmin etc. ------ thanks to Yash & Runi for their selection of  the restaurant with quality service, neatness & delicious dishes.
After khana-pina, Papu with her son & mother (she is a disciple of  Parveen Sultana &  is a v. good classical singer) were on the way to New Jersey & we availed the Lucky bus service, bound for Boston.
Enroute, the  Manhattan skyline opened up &  all the skyscrapers were on the horizon giving us a lasting memory to cherish.

Addenda------ Our journey began on 24th  evening, we  stayed there fm 25th---26th (upto mid-day) & came back to Boston in the night. I am writing this blog rather late today.

A gloomy day

We are to go to New York tomorrow afternoon. We are to stay near an apartment near times square there.
However, today we are here in Boston & it is a day to keep indoor, because it is drizzling all the while. Worse, it is a windy day.
So, time is hanging heavy & we  are glued to PC in youtube for movies. During lunch and also in  dinner, Pabda fish is there to give me satisfaction.

Rest is best

Today, no plans for going out anywhere. Runi  goes out early. Yash is also preparing to move out. However, he finds time to chat with us while he is having his breakfast & soon gets ready to leave.
I move out for walking in the streets, only to find that it is now drizzling & I  have to discontinue my walking , after 5-6 mins.
Computers are our companions & provide entertainment as we see trailers of movies, read newspapers, listen to songs etc.
In the evening, Mr & Mrs. Sadhukhan are to meet us. Mrs. Sadhukhan's father, Mr. Ganesh Das is known to me (He is now in his house at Kol.).
Dada, in the meantime, went to Whole food Mart for buying  a bottle of milk. Seems that Runi., upon her return,  will prepare a dish or two.
The streets are wet, the trees also are wet with drops of rain, smaller birds flying from one branch to another and the scenery around our house is good.
The rest gives us some reserve & hence, the caption.

Harvard University

Harvard Univ. is the oldest univ. in USA & its 375th anniv. is to be celebrated in 2011------Google search says so.
Runi guided us to catch a train to North Stn.(C--line train)---- we got down at Park St. stn. & availed a Red line train to go to Harvard sq. The green, orange & red line trains are moving in different layers, in various directions.
One has to get used to such a system to overcome the initial difficulties of understanding. However, the system is highly appreciable & people r using the same extensively, in order to go to many  places.
We got down at Harvard Sq. in a Red line train------the train crossed the Charles River. I saw the Cable bridge of Boston over the river-------- the Hancock bldg. or tower , being a high-rise bldg., was also visible in the background.
At  Harvard sq., we walked towards Harvard Univ. Bldgs. & saw the  Administrative Bldg., Science bldg. & another bldg. with a remarkable campus area---- a  gate attendant was there in the gate of this bldg. Students
& academicians were going in and out.
Snapshots taken by dada.  The name Harvard itself is very big & I  would like to cherish the memory of being there, though not within.
We returned by a train bound for  destination stn Riverside (Gr. line) & got down at Beaconsfield.
Starmarket was near-by & stock of potatoes in the kitchen was poor------ hence, we went to the said mkt.
Alu, Tarmuj (Watermelon cut into a piece) & perhaps some other items were bought.
While returning home, we met a gentleman named  Mr. Tyagi who was fm India (Delhi). He was sitting on a bench on the pavement in front of his house. He talked to us & asked us to have a cup of tea someday, circumstances permitting.
However, we were eager to reach home & we did so.

Is Malden far or near?

In the morning, Runi drove me to AT&T shop for mobile problem & then to Trader's Joe for buying vegetables. Mobile problem is persisting.  We looked into another shop which sells household & other materials. Next we went to  Starmarket for buying fish & bought Trout fish.

In the evening, all of us i.e Yash, Runi. myself, dada & Boudi  were in the car & Yash was seen driving for Malden where Debasree & Arani  (Old friends of Runi and Yash also) live. We stopped at a convenient place by the side of Charles river where there were many yachts  & canoes. The place is in Cambridge & university bldgs. were there. Snapshots taken, as usual.

Runi  guided Yash with the help of the GPS to drive to Malden. But, somehow we were out of the right path & Debasree was ringing Yash & Runi up quite frequently & asking where they (i.e we) were.  Runi replied---- yes, as usual--- we are encircling but, don't worry, soon we will be there, in yr  apptt.

We were there after some time. A warm welcome followed. Debasree & Arani have a baby  son and  Debasre's parents were also there.
Runi, Debasree & Arani r old pals of Presidency college. Yash also has become a fast friend of theirs.
Hence, it was great fun for them to meet together. The baby also wanted to be in the party, it seemed.
It was nice to meet Debasree's parents also. They have already been to USA a no. of times, bec, their younger daughter also live in USA , in a different city (Name  I don't remember).
The baby stole the show by virtue of its juvenile activities.
Coffee was served After some time, dinner was on table. Daal, bhaat, alur pakora , fish and chutney.  V v good to eat.

Time to depart now. Bye Debasree,   Arani and the rest of the family.

While  Yash was driving home, I was surprised to be near Cambridge very very soon. Is Malden far or near----  I wanted to ask Yash & Runi. But, I suppressed my curiosity somewhat wisely.
Soon we got off the car, as all were now back home.

Ice hockey is nice hockey

Today is a saturday & we took a train to Boylston Stn.in the morning. Runi wanted to guide us to Boston common and Boston Public Garden.  Yash had his own job & kept indoors. Arlington stn was closed to the commuters for some reason. When at Boylston, we were pleasantly surprised to see a mammoth crowd waiting there in Boston  Common and the Garden area to see  a rally of the victorious local team Boston Bruins who have just won the Stanley Cup (related to Ice hockey) beating a Canadian team of Vancouver.
I don't know anything of ice hockey save the fact that sometimes I saw a few matches in Cable TV. But, seeing the frenzy all around,  I also was inspired & waited eagerly to see the victorious team who soon came in  well-decorated cars (Duck tour). Children up in trees , fans cheering at the top of their voice & people overlooking fm big buildings  in the vicinity------- what a scene. The cup was held high by the players & the crowd became fanatic. They cheered & cheered. Flash flash----- everybody wanted to be a part of this historic moment . Historic in the sense that  a Boston club won this cup after quite a long period, if I am not wrong.
Next, we entered the garden and had some good time seeing flowers and people in various attire & in cheerful mood. Many snapshots were taken by Runi and dada.
Next, we went to the Trinity Church which was closed and we waited in the vicinity to let the very big crowd  get reduced. Otherwise, trains would be heavily crowded & that might cause us a problem.
In the next phase, we boarded a train for Riverside & got down at Beaconsfield.

In the evening, Yash & Runi drove us to Castle island------ a very nice place away fm the din & bustle of the city. Here there is a remarkable castle with cannons placed at different angles on the top facing the sea. It is a bay & people gather here for fishing , picnic and weekend outings. Yash met 1 or 2 persons from Maharashtra & was seen talking to them earnestly; we also met a Bengalee family who hail fm Bangladesh & speaking bengali with them was a relief. Airplanes were either getting down or going up, as the  airport was  near-by.Runi , Yash & dada  also, took many snapshot. Boat cruise was to be seen in the sea-water. Boats  & yachts were also there. Some people were seen fishing. Yash showed us jelly fish in sea-water.
Runi & Yash bought ice-cream & fish fry & we  had taste of the same.
It was about 9-25 P. M & Yash drove us back home at about 10-o-clock.

bluebird: Repeat show

The trio of us i.e Dada, Bou-di & myself  were eager to utilise  our charlie tickets. So, a repeat show of  day before yesterday was done. We boarded a train to North Stn.& detrained at Copley.
No more of the library this time & we moved about aimlessly in the  vast open area, viewing whatever was there to see & buy, for many others. In the food -area, mediterranean food was selling and several other types also; but, none of us ventured to taste.  Smaller flower trees or maybe they are shrubs, were being sold-- variety of them.  A middle-aged lady was seen trying to push-sell a few items of cloth she was having. Children enjoying thoroughly & playing among themselves.
We roamed here & there & tried to be a part of all such gleeful activities around. Time was now about 3 P.M & this reminded us of the fact that a Bengali family i.e Amitava & his wife  Satarupa, along with their Dubai-based parents (Pl remember that we went to them earlier---- they stay in Quincy) were to come & meet us as well as dine with us, in the evening. This put an end to our outdoor activities & we, enriched by our previous experience, boarded a train bound for Cleveland Circle.
In the evening, at about 8-o-clock, the family came & we  inter-acted mainly by talking among ourselves.
Runi was busy all the while ---- cleaning the house, arranging things ---- from the previous day she went to the extent of  buying  food-items fm the mkt.  She read books on recipe----maybe took help fm Internet  as to how to prepare a certain dish (Fish fry), Bou-di seemed to be helpful while we were witnesses only.
The menu:  Chicken Biryani with sauce, veg. biriyani & fish fry. Great.  The guests & hosts liked the items of food.  Yash  & Runi were seen talking with Amitava & Satarupa, while we partnered with Amitava's parents & had some conversation before taking the mouthfuls.
The family departs & slowly comes the nightfall.

Boston Public Library

Today evening, 16th June, the 3 of us ventured to take a ride by train from Dean Rd. Stn. to Copley--- another Stn. where there is the famous Boston Public Library. It is a well-built building with much of open space in front of it & opp. to this there is a high rise bldg.
The library is busy organising a gallery of pictures & photographs with writings explaining the heritage of the American civil war. It is now the 150th anniversary of the war. It is a great history. We enjoyed thoroughly.
As regards ourselves---  a few photographs were taken & our legs ached covering 2 floors & quite some length & breadth of the  library. Readers, however, were non-challant  of all such amateurish activities & kept themselves plunged in studying books & reference materials.
Exit Boston library & we were puzzled as to how to catch a train to Dean Rd. However, 1 or 2 people assisted & we got down at Beaconsfield Stn. which is also near our residence.

                                                   Next day 17th June

I apologise as I failed to write a blog yesterday & I am herein writing about 17th June.
Runi is on leave today ----- I think she wants to drive us to a few places e.g Arnold Arboretum ---- a botanical garden mainted beautifully by the Harvard Univ. plus a shopping mall for buying a thing or two.
Yash went to his pl. of wk early in the morning & we ate our meal early, to be driven by Runi in a car headed for the said Arnold arboretum. Not a far-away pl. fm our res., but it offers a sudden change of  vision & wipes out boredum at once, in case you are bored by any means.
I have already said that the garden is well-maintained------ the tall trees have all their local names plus botanical names written over them. Even the smaller ones r also having the names & satisfies one's curiosity in respect of  knowledge.
It was a sunny day, after a few rainy days & people were out everywhere to bathe in the sun----- many of them along with children who were playful & noisy enough to give the scenario an extra splash of color.
People  carried pets , mainly dogs with them also. The dogs walked silently along with their masters, perhaps understanding the change of weather suddenly fm rainy days to a sunny day.
April and May r the months of flowers---- the  season of the Lilacs is over ------ this caused us some disappointment, though it was expected.
However, roses had bloomed in large quantities & camera-saavy dada & Runi were happy taking photographs.
Therefrom, we went to a  shopping mall  (I don't remember the name), in a subarban area, in Arsenal Rd. They said it was a historic area.
Myself & Bou-di had our new shoes to be purchased. So, we did the same. Some more  items were also purchased, may be for carrying to Kolkata. As usual, camers clicked & quite some time elapsed before we reached home.

To & from Coolidge corner

At last we bought 3  Charlie Tickets, which one can use for 7 days in Trains/buses----- starting from 15th June, 2011 upto 22nd instant, as many times as one wishes, to & from any station.
No Booking clark, as in India, only machines with set programs------ I have to touch screen, as per menu, and use either  credit cards or cash, to have tickets. Took a joy-ride upto Coolidge corner which is a busy spot here and came back to  Dean Rd. Stn. From there, down Corey Rd., to our house.  Our country  has a large population & prefers to avoid so much of technology & machines, perhaps to keep political disturbance, in abeyance.
A minor disturbance in Network occurred rendering our laptops inactive. Runi & then Yash repaired the N/W & everything is fine , by now.
I have bought one SIM card from an AT&T shop, in coolidge corner & they have fixed the same on a spare Mb phone of Runi/Yash & that shd have worked; but, is not , due N/W problem. maybe, I shall buy one Phone even within a day or two.
Rain has stopped & sunny days seem to be ahead for us.

Rain Rain go to spain

Rain has not stopped fully here, In Boston. Yesterday, we were almost confined to house, though, it is just drizzling outside. I had my morning walk for 35 min. only down  Corey Rd. towards  Dean Rd. & fm Dean Rd. Jnc. towards left down the main Rd. (I forgot the name). Joggers were there as usual------ throughout all possible hours of the day.
Trams (maybe they call the same trains in Boston) were moving, as usual. I don't know yet where they r bound to & from. But, it gives me a feeling of nostalgia of  our  Calcutta (It was calcutta then & not Kolkata of the present days) of the 1960 s. Trams would ply throughout the length & breadth of Cal., from early hrs. of the morning till late night, catering to huge demands of the public.
Sort of belly-upset I had---- I was eager to eat green chillie (Kancha lanka) & I ate one (almost full of the same) with rice. May be that gave me the trouble. Anyway,  it was a  minor thing.
We were to go to a local shopping  center; but, could not do so.
I am to buy one mobile phone for getting in touch with relatives & friends. Ohhhh--- my shoe (Bata shoe) has betrayed & needs to be replaced, bec. repairing is costlier. Instant shoe repair shops r visible along the main Rd. (Where I walked).
Runi played a movie, Hitchcock's--' To catch a thief",  starring  well-known hollywood film actors of the olden days  viz.  Carey Grant & Grace Kelly. The film  was once a super duper hit in the Box office. many of us either r having VCDs of the same. Many have seen the film.
Yash is more busy than Runi now; as Runi's guide knows that her parents & uncle have come here fm India, Kol.
Yash is leaving early in the day & returning late in the night.
I  am hungry for News of India as well as that of west Beng.
Today, I am now going out for a walk. Time here is   9-25 A.M.

3rd day

Today, 13th June, is practically our 4th day, but yet,  I am choosing  the title as 3rd day.
In the morning, I went for a walk for about 35 min., along a straight course. It was drizzling. So, took an umbrella. Joggers r always there. Dogs were seen, but, in less nos. Parks desolated. Only cars were seen moving, though  today is a sunday.
The convocation ceremony in Dartmouth college started at  10-o-clock morning. Internet showed this live. Amitava, about whom I have already written, was seen taking his degree, though I was away at that moment. However, rest of us saw this. His parents were there for sure, though one could not locate them in the big crowd. The ceremony happened in New Hampshire & there was drizzle too.
Among the dignitries present, were  former President Bush Sr. with wife.  Ph. D was conferred upon him.
TV host (Comedy) O'brien had been there & he entertained during his interesting speech. Everyboday was entertained & was seen laughing, when he spoke at length.
Mr. Kim was the President. Post-graduates, graduates, Undergraduates took their degrees. Many former scholars of different fields were honoured. Brilliant researchers and scholars also were honoured.

In the evening all of us went to   1. Indian shopping center  (Patel's)   2.  Wholesale Mkt  & 3. Bangladeshi Mkt. Place.
In Indian Mkt place, we bought sabji s of different variety, medicines, day-to-day commodities
,Chaal, Daal and also other things    We bought storage trays , Sugar (Bigger bags) etc . in Wholesale mkt.
We bought fish fm bangladesh mkt. place--- Illish (Cut into pieces---- 2 nos.)   , Pabda and Kajri.
In our dinner, we had illisher  tel, dim bhaja and Jhol.----  all good. Ranna Bou-di i  korlo. Runi helped.
Yash went to his work place, though it is a sunday today & came late in night. His dinner was much much delayed.
More in next blog.

2nd day

Today, it is 11th June and it is  our 3rd day here; but, I have titled it as 2nd day.  Anyhow, it is raining here since long, with intermittent no-rain situations. People walking with umbrellas of different variety. Joggers don't mind for the environment whatsoever & stick to  their routine----- they are jogging ignoring sun & rain, so to say.
I failed to go out for my morning walk today----- so I am  not giving myself  any marks today, for this unexpected failure.
One or two small birds, resembling the nightingale, r flying & sitting upon branches of trees which r very very close to our windows. Nature seems to be friendly to us
There is Jewish temple opp. to our house. Today is a saturday & maybe saturday is their--- I mean the communities' day to go to the temple. Many of them  have turned up here & r slightly distressed due to the rain.
Infants were initially  playing in front of the temple along the sidewalk, elderly persons watching  all their  joyful activities.
I read Anandabazar Patrika, Times of India in the NET (!st page and also the sports page). That hardly quenches my thirst for news and opinions of the editors of the newspapers.
Anyhow, I am slowly getting used to the slow pace of life here.
I am stopping here today. More in my next.

in boston, brighton

We reached BOS hale & hearty. I lost & found my pr. of specs in the aircraft while we deplaned at BOS, found --courtesy Runi & Yash also who r smart enough to ask for the same fm the staff of LH airlines & who were quick to respond & return. Though I had an extra pr. of specs with me as a stand--by, yet I was a bit upset.
Yash waiting for our arrival

We arrive
We travelled well, dishes good enough e.g salmon fish with mustard-spread, cheese, butter, fruit salad, chicken--- all  that was served during voyages to & from Frankfurt. Had tea at FRA @ $ 4 per cup along with some biscuits.

Nice car--- that Yash & Runi r now possessing. Nice home---- they r having at Corey Rd., Brighton, Boston.  Nice dinner & a good sleep thereafr. Had morning walk today. Dada, Bou-di and Runi accompanied. An experience to remember.

Today is Runi & Yash's marriage anniv. day. May God bless them. Let their life be long & happy.
