The trio of us i.e Dada, Bou-di & myself were eager to utilise our charlie tickets. So, a repeat show of day before yesterday was done. We boarded a train to North Stn.& detrained at Copley.
No more of the library this time & we moved about aimlessly in the vast open area, viewing whatever was there to see & buy, for many others. In the food -area, mediterranean food was selling and several other types also; but, none of us ventured to taste. Smaller flower trees or maybe they are shrubs, were being sold-- variety of them. A middle-aged lady was seen trying to push-sell a few items of cloth she was having. Children enjoying thoroughly & playing among themselves.
We roamed here & there & tried to be a part of all such gleeful activities around. Time was now about 3 P.M & this reminded us of the fact that a Bengali family i.e Amitava & his wife Satarupa, along with their Dubai-based parents (Pl remember that we went to them earlier---- they stay in Quincy) were to come & meet us as well as dine with us, in the evening. This put an end to our outdoor activities & we, enriched by our previous experience, boarded a train bound for Cleveland Circle.
In the evening, at about 8-o-clock, the family came & we inter-acted mainly by talking among ourselves.
Runi was busy all the while ---- cleaning the house, arranging things ---- from the previous day she went to the extent of buying food-items fm the mkt. She read books on recipe----maybe took help fm Internet as to how to prepare a certain dish (Fish fry), Bou-di seemed to be helpful while we were witnesses only.
The menu: Chicken Biryani with sauce, veg. biriyani & fish fry. Great. The guests & hosts liked the items of food. Yash & Runi were seen talking with Amitava & Satarupa, while we partnered with Amitava's parents & had some conversation before taking the mouthfuls.
The family departs & slowly comes the nightfall.
