Good bye Boston.... we are flying India back today evening. We will reach Kolkata on 17th August at 11-10 P.M.
Weather report ....... it is cloudy here and rainfall is likely even. Kolkata's weather is worse..... I gather that it rained there last few days & weather will not improve soon.
While leaving this city, I am carrying good memories and good feelings. So far, the sources of my knowledge in r/o USA and this city had been a few books, Atlas, the experience of my seniors in Merchant Navy, the literature of the famous poets and writers of USA like Edgar Allan Poe, Nathniel Hawthorne, Washington Arvin, Herman Melville, Stephane Crane, Howard Fast, Pearl S. Buck, William Faulkner , Ernest Hemingway, Robert Frost and many others ------their poetry and writings, Hollywood films ......their Actors and Directors.......the history books of American Independence and the Civil war........the writings of Swami Vivekananda and his disciples ....the books on Swamiji....his life & experience in USA.......in Boston; but, at least now I have been able to gather some practical knowledge about the same country and the city of Boston, though meagre.... it enriched my outlook and knowledge. So, thanks to all and good bye.
Time & tide, they say, wait for none......... still if I have time, may be a few pages more would be added to my book of such practical knowledge.
